What Can I Do To Lose Weight Quickly

As greater numbers of Americans are being influenced by various media outlets, all of which highlight attractiveness, youthfulness, and large muscles, the drive to lose weight super quick has been rising. While all medical doctors and nutritionists will probably agree that losing weight and maintaining it is a healthy route, most will point out that losing it too quickly in idiotic ways is not only foolish, but also damaging to one’s physical and mental health. And so, all health care specialists warn against “yo-yo” diets, starvation techniques, obsessive and compulsive exercising, binging and purging (e.g., anorexia and bulimia), and other harmful tactics.

Most people who lose weight too quickly using these unhealthy methods gain the weight they lost back, sometimes faster than they lost it; thus, it is paramount to realize that it is possible to lose weight quickly and, at the same time, to do it healthily.

Below are some healthy tips and the best way to lose weight quickly.

1)Drink lots of water (i.e., at least 8 cups per day). If you get a craving for another beverage, make it be green tea, as it has health benefits, too.

2) Exercise everyday. Do moderate or vigorous cardiovascular exercise four to five days a week for thirty to forty-five minutes. Include weight training and other forms of anaerobic exercises into your weekly plans, too.

3) Scrap the whites. Get rid of all white carbohydrates and replace them with brown ones, like wheats, barley, grains, and lentils.

4) Eat more meals throughout the day (i.e., every four to five hours), so that you are full longer and won’t eat much at the next meal.

5) Quit the alcohol habit, if you have one.

6) Eat lean white means, like turkey and chicken, instead of red meats full of saturated fats and cholesterol.

7) Beware of the calories in additives that you add to your coffee and tea products, if you still have to drink either on a daily basis. Notice that your tea and coffee could easily become 300-500 calories of fatty material; however, plain coffee and tea have hardly any calories.
