<p><strong>Treadmill/Cardio</strong> &#8211; When you walk into the gym, what do you see?  Rows and rows of treadmills and so naturally you think that you should hop on the treadmill. You start to get a good sweat going, and each time you go, you realize you can run farther and faster, and you may even lose a little bit of weight.  But you&#8217;ll notice, that despite being able to run farther, longer and faster, you won&#8217;t be losing any weight.  This is because your body adapts to the running quickly, and becomes efficient at it.  This is great for breaking records, but not for losing weight.  If you really want to run on a treadmill, then you need to do intervals.  Sprint for a minute, and walk for a minute,sprint for a minute and walk for a minute.  This will confuse your body, leading to continual fat burn.</p>
<p><strong>Starvation &#8211; </strong>Another thing that people want to try when they are trying to lose weight quick, is to starve themselves.  Either not eating at all, or eating very little is a technique that they think will help them to lose weight.  This is not only very unhealthy, but it will have the opposite effect. Your body will go into survival mode since it isn&#8217;t getting the food it needs, and it will hold onto and store all of the body fat you have to hold you over until you&#8217;re able to get food again.  And, if you eat any food, all of it will be stored as fat.  Instead of barely eating anything, it is best to just limit your calories.  Between 1200-1600 calories a day is good, depending on your weight.  You&#8217;ll need energy in order to <a href="http://srpatterso.mikegeary1.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=FPSPORTS" target='_blank'>work out</a> the way you need to in order to get a good fat burn.  You&#8217;ll also need to be giving your body food so that it doesn&#8217;t store fat.<br />

<p>Weight loss can be as easy as eating better and exercising more, but sometimes other problems get in the way.  If you are trying to lose weight and it just seems impossible, don’t be angry at yourself or give up – find out if you have a condition that is interfering with your regimen.</p>
<p>Thyroid disorders are near the top of the pile when it comes to common conditions that can get in the way of your weight loss plan.  27 million Americans suffer from some sort of thyroid problem.  Hypothyroidism accounts for about 80 percent of all thyroid disorders and occurs most frequently in women.  Hypothyroidism can make you feel sluggish, achy, and lead to difficulties in dropping weight.  It can also cause weight gain.</p>
<p>The biggest issue in dealing with hypothyroidism is that so many people do not realize they have the problem.  After all, the symptoms read like sort of a bad day.  But over time if these symptoms cannot be shaken off, it is wise to get tested for hypothyroidism and determine if your thyroid is producing enough of the necessary hormones.</p>
<p>Luckily, getting your thyroid checked is easy – you can even do it at home.  From a small sample of blood your TSH levels can be determined.  TSH is not actually produced by the thyroid – the pituitary gland releases it.  However, the thyroid gland relies upon the level of TSH to “know” how much hormone it should be producing – so if your TSH levels are out of whack, your thyroid will be out of whack as well.</p>
<p>Treating your thyroid disorder is generally easy as well.  Medication is available and not overly burdensome.  When treated, it is likely that not only will weight loss be easier for you, but everything else will too, as common symptoms like fatigue and depression will also be addressed by better thyroid management.</p>

<p>After a serious health diagnosis, I was faced with adopting sweeping <a title="Detox Cleansing" href="http://detoxcleansing.org">lifestyle changes</a>. I needed to find ways to eat a satisfying diet while eliminating processed junk foods and sugar.</p>

<p>There was only one problem, the preparation! A plan with only basic raw foods like sprouts, veggies and fruits just was not realistic. <p>Still searching, I tried a vegan diet. A regime that eliminates all animal products was much easier to incorporate into my lifestyle. Plus, I could cook and prepare quick and easy recipes that are healthy and delicious in a reasonable amount of time.</p>
<p>It became clear that a combination of the raw and vegan lifestyles is the answer for me. Clean food that could be cooked became the answer.</p>
<p>By making these eliminations and replacing them with good healthy food choices melted 50 pounds from my body. At this point, I am in better shape than 10 years ago. My energy level and stamina have improved greatly. My health has turned around.</p>

<p>The second main goal is that you must eat five times a day for those five days. Even if you are using shakes as a meal replacement; the idea is to make sure that you are putting food in your body five times throughout the day. This kicks your metabolism into overdrive.</p>
<p>Finally, each meal during those five days consists of 40 grams of protein, 25 grams of carbohydrates and 10 grams of fat. It sounds crazy, but it’s actually not difficult at all. Our dinners are traditionally a meat with rice. I eat more of the meat and a lot less rice. Breakfast is two eggs with cheese and some sausage. My carbs are consumed through the juice I drink.
